1.Courses shall be held physically in the library as well as online via TEAMS speaking Mandarin. For English speaking courses, please contact the librarian (contact info below). 

2.Special lectures provide teaching quality enhancement credits. There is no need to sign in or out for online participants. Attendance will be based on system records of participant’s joining and leaving the virtual meeting room. Participants who join 5 minutes later than the official session start-time, or leave 5 minutes earlier than the official end-time, or fail to leave the virtual meeting room within 10 minutes post the end-time without any interaction (e.g., speaking or chatting), shall not be recognized for credit-hours.

3.CGU Library offers courses per request by faculty in accommodation with scheduled classes or group of six members and more. Once established, the latter course shall be announced on CGU Library Calendar and open to campus members. Slots are limited! Please book as early as possible with no later than 7 days prior to the intended date.

【行政服務】113學年度第2學期課程指定用書調查作業 Course reserves and references survey for the coming semester

一、為尊重及保護智慧財產，並協助學生使用合法版權教科書，圖書館「課程指定用書服務」徵集教師授課教科書，學生可利用館藏查詢系統依書名、授課教師或課程名稱進行查詢參閱。電子版教科書可直接利用館藏查詢系統於校園網域連線使用；實體教科書則置於一樓專室提供館內閱讀，中文教科書另購置一本依一般館藏管理。

二、本次調查作業說明如下：

若教師本學期課程指定用書有【調整(刪除或新增)】，敬請於114年2月12日(三)前參照下列方式提出，俾利圖書館作業。

1. 本館已有館藏：請利用本館館藏查詢系統(網址 https://web20.lib.cgu.edu.tw/ )，於線上進行課程用書指定。設定方式請詳參【教師指定用書三步驟】。

2. 本館尚無館藏：若於本館館藏查詢系統查無該書籍，則請填寫教師指定用書資料調查表【課程指定用書清單 Reserved Book List.doc】，並以email回覆或擲回紙本至圖書館。或透過線上表單(網址 https://reurl.cc/K4pbLe )提供相關資訊。圖書館將協助儘快採購，並設定為課程指定用書館藏，提供師生使用。＊如欲選用Wiley數位教科書，請洽館員。

三、圖書採購需要一定程序，請教師協助儘早提出，俾便圖書館於課程開始前，備妥指定用書，配合課程利用。如有任何課程指定用書相關問題，請聯絡服務館員(分機5976)，或email至 libmedia@mail.cgu.edu.tw ，本館將竭誠為您服務。

To respect and protect intellectual property and assist students in using legally copyrighted textbooks, the library’s "Course Reserved Textbook Service" collects textbooks designated by teachers for their courses. Students can use the library catalog system to search for textbooks by title, instructor, or course name. Electronic textbooks can be accessed directly within the campus network through the library catalog system. Physical textbooks are available for reading in a dedicated area on the first floor. An additional copy of Chinese-language textbook is purchased and managed under general library collections.

The instructions for this survey are as follows:

If there are any adjustments (deletions or additions) to the designated textbooks for this semester, please follow the methods below and submit by February 12th, 2025, to facilitate the library’s processing:

1. For textbooks already in the library's collection: Please use the library catalog system (https://web20.lib.cgu.edu.tw/ ) to designate your course textbooks online. Refer to for detailed instructions on setting up the course textbooks in three steps.

2. For textbooks not yet in the library's collection: If the book is not found in the library catalog system, please fill out the survey form(課程指定用書清單 Reserved Book List.doc), and return it via email or in hard copy to the library. Alternatively, please provide relevant information through the online form ( https://reurl.cc/K4pbLe). The library will assist in acquiring the book as soon as possible, and set it up as part of the course reserved textbooks collection for faculty and student use. *For selection of Wiley digital textbooks, please contact the librarian.

Since there’re due procedures for book acquisition, please submit your requests as early as possible, so that the designated textbooks could be ready before the courses start. 一、活動對象：本校全體教職員生。 二、活動期間：即日起至114年3月14日(五)止。 1. 供書期間：即日起至114年2月24日。 (1)    學期中(即日起至114年1月5日；114年2月15日至2月24日：週一至週五9:00-22:00、週六日10:00-19:00。 (2)    寒假期間(114年1月6日至2月14日)：週一至週五9:00-16:00。 2. 取書期間：第一階段(持有點數者)114年3月3日至3月7日期間、第二階段(無點數者)114年3月10日至3月14日期間，週一至週五9:00-18:00。 三、交換圖書範疇： 1. 有版權之正版圖書。 2. 恕不接收：雜誌、影音資料、宣傳性及宗教助印出版品、高中(含)以下之參考書及教科書、出版5年(含)以上之電腦書及語文學習類。 ★請勿提供發霉、髒汙或破損不堪使用之圖書。 四、活動辦法： 1. 供書：請送至圖書館一樓櫃檯，經館方確認符合交換圖書範疇後，登錄並email通知讀者可換書點數(詳第2點說明)。該點數可延續兩次圖書館二手書交流活動使用(共可使用於三次二手書活動)，活動結束後將由館方紀錄剩餘點數並email通知讀者。 2. 點數計算：一本書冊核計1點。為鼓勵教科書交換，課程使用之教科書(請告知授課年度、科系及課程名稱)，依出版年份加計核發點數如下： (1)    出版5年(含)內【2020年(含)後】，中文每本核計3點、西文每本核計7點。 (2)    出版6-10年(含)內【2015-2019年】，中文每本核計2點、西文每本核計5點。 (3)    出版超過10年【2015年前出版】，中文每本核計1點、西文每本核計2點。 3. 換書清單：將於114年2月27日(四)於圖書館網頁公告換書清單。 4. 取書： (1)     持有點數之讀者(含沿用前次點數)，請於第一階段換書期間，持本人證件至圖書館一樓櫃檯換取等值點數之書冊。第一階段取書以供書點數為上限，恕不接受預約及保留。換書首三日(114年3月3日至5日)，每名讀者每日至多兌換5冊圖書。 (2)     未持有點數之讀者，請於第二階段換書期間，至圖書館一樓櫃檯選取書冊。 五、活動獎勵： 1. 獎項： (1)    供書15點(含)以上者，可參加500元商品卡抽獎，共3名。 (2)    供書5點(含)至14點者，可參加300元商品卡抽獎，共5名。 (3)    供書4點(含)以下者，可參加100元商品卡抽獎，共5名。 2. 公告時間：114年3月20日(四)中午12:10。 3. 抽獎方式：採用線上抽獎程式，並於圖書館粉絲專頁直播抽獎過程。

放寒假了～閱讀與學習的樂趣無須暫停喔！圖書館提供豐富多元的中外文電子書資源，涵蓋學術研究、科普知識、資訊科技、商業理財、人文社會、文學欣賞、心理勵志、語言學習、休閒閱讀…等多元主題，不受時空與媒材限制，透過網路滿足您不同的主題需求與樂趣，並可選擇下載APP以離線閱讀。誠摯地邀請各位探索圖書館的電子書資源，一起閱讀FUN寒假! 中文電子書平台簡介如附件或請瀏覽圖書館官網完整介紹。

此外，為鼓勵同學們於寒假期間持續享受閱讀的樂趣，圖書館提供大學部學生紙本圖書借期延長服務：自113/12/25起借閱的一般圖書(不含視聽資料及館藏狀態為中文新書的圖書)，還書日皆延長至下學期開學第一日（114/2/17）。這麼好康的服務不要輕易錯過唷！！

Winter vacation has arrived! The joy of reading and learning doesn’t have to take a break. Furthermore, to encourage students to continue enjoying the pleasures of reading during the winter vacation, the library is offering an extended loan period for printed books for undergraduate students. General books (excluding audiovisual materials and books are cataloged as new Chinese publications.) borrowed starting December 25, 2024, will have their return dates extended to the first day of the next semester (February 17, 2025). Don’t miss out on this fantastic service!

If the due date falls during the winter vacation, please return the books by the original due date or apply for a renewal, as the library will not automatically extend the borrowing period. 【行政服務】圖書館2025年補助使用館際合作措施 The 2025 Interlibrary Cooperation Subsidy Measures

 為滿足校園師生文獻使用需求，圖書館持續參加國外館際合作系統RapidILL，並補助讀者經由本館申請全國文獻傳遞服務系統(NDDS)取得文獻之費用。說明如下：

1.        補助對象：編制內專任教師及博碩士研究生。

2.        補助期間：2025.1.1-2025.12.31(至個人補助金額上限或總預算用罄為止)。

3.        補助金額上限：編制內專任教師為500元/位；研究生為230元/位。

4.        已取得校外研究計畫補助師生，請優先由研究計畫相關費用項目支應。

5.        逾個人補助金額上限或總預算用罄後，依例行收費方式辦理。

To fulfill the needs of interlibrary loan and document delivery for faculty and students, the CGU library continues participating in the international interlibrary cooperation system RapidILL and subsidizes users to obtain documents through the National Document Delivery Service System (NDDS). The application should be made through the CGU library. The pertinent details are as follows:

1.Subsidy recipients: Full-time teachers and graduate students.

2.Subsidy period: 2025.1.1-2025.12.31 (or until the individual subsidy amount limits are reached, or the total budget is exhausted).

3.Subsidy amount limits: Full-time teachers within the establishment are NT$500 per person; graduate students are NT$230 per person.

4.Teachers and students who have received external research project subsidies are encouraged to prioritize relevant cost items within the research project.

5.Once the individual subsidy amount limit is surpassed or the total budget is exhausted, the routine fee collection method should prevail.

【健康專書】「60秒聊健康」兩方向舒緩自律神經失調

 自律神經包括交感神經及副交感神經，受情緒、情感、感官左右。

若長期自律神經失調，可能造成免疫系統混亂。兩大方向舒緩自律神經失調：

1.交感神經較強時，建議紓壓放鬆、深呼吸、靜坐冥想、適度休息，勿將壓力留到晚上影響睡眠。

2.副交感神經偏強時，建議白天適度運動、晚上早睡。運動能提升晚上睡眠品質，有助恢復白天精神。

二、   為支援教學與學習需求並考量公平使用原則，自即日起教師課程指定教科書限在館內閱覽使用，請查照。To support teaching and learning needs while ensuring compliance with the principles of fair use, all course reserve textbooks designated by faculty members will be restricted to in-library use effective immediately.

三、   旨揭修正業經113學年第1學期圖書諮詢委員會議通過，並經校長於11/12核准，本館完成相關因應作業後正式公布施行。This policy amendment was approved by the Library Advisory Committee meeting for the first semester of the 113th academic year. After being submitted for approval to the president on November 12, the library has completed the necessary preparations and officially announced its implementation.
